South facing plot of land, situated at a height of 320 m on a clay-limestone soil.

Winemaking

Manual harvest 100% destemming. The grapes are transported to the winery in small 20 kg crates to ensure optimum quality. Gravity vatting without pump. Natural fermentation without yeasting, fining or sulphiting. Fermentation of the Grenache and Syrah blend in a single vat, no blending of the wines. Vatting time of 42 days in stainless steel tanks. A beautiful patina brought by the oak from the "Foudre" in which the wine "stayed" for 42 months.

Tasting

Divine power!
The colour is a deep red, limpid and fluid. The intense, generous aromas melt into a harmonious complexity of fresh fruit and spices, floral and vanilla notes, with a toasty side. The very pleasant woodiness does not mask the aromas of the Syrah. On the palate, a massive structure, the attack is frank, the substance dense, the tannins well present and enveloped by the contribution of wood. A generous and powerful wine with a good persistence.
This wine of character and beautiful structure does not yet reveal all its potential. It can be left to age for 8 to 12 years. It is important to decant it one to two hours before tasting.

The Point G cuvée will make superb pairings with wild boar stew, venison stew or thrushes roasted on the sofa. Very pleasant as a dessert with a dark forest chocolate coulour.
