Winemaking

Manuel harvest. After whole-cluster fermentation for 10 to 12 days, the must is gravity fed and gently pressed in a pneumatic press. This wine finishes primary fermentation in barrels. The malo-lactic fermentation is done in barrels naturally. Estate-bottled after 10 months of barrel aging without fining.

Tasting

Seducer !
Concentrated and structured, Leynes is characterized by a deep red color and a rich texture followed by a long finish on the palate. Aromas of undergrowth, vanilla notes and a touch of tobacco are accompanied by black cherries, blackcurrant, pepper and dark chocolate. With some tight tannins and rich black fruits, it is a ripe, juicy wine that has intense acidity as well as a spicy aftertaste. This charming wine reveals its mysteries slowly to seduce you.
