Terroir

Clay and limestone terraces located in the village of Châteauneuf sur Isère. Draining soil with detrital pebbles.

Winemaking

David Reynaud's choice of careful ageing and the meticulous selection and blending work carried out by him sublimate the consistency and excellence of the wines.
The grapes are harvested at maturity and sorted by hand on the vine, de-stemmed and 100% directly pressed with a pneumatic press at low pressure. Cold settling of the must in stainless steel vats. Traditional vinification and maturing for 8 months on the lees in 16 hl ovoid concrete vats for 2/3 and in barrels for the other third.

Tasting

Charming!
The result is a little gem of white wine with a sparkling golden colour in your glass. When aired, Aux Bêtises reveals bewitching notes of white flowers (jasmine) and dried fruit (fine). The whole is spiced up by light notes of spicy breeding (vanilla). On the palate, the wine is dense, perfectly balanced between volume and freshness. Such a structure makes it the ideal companion for a number of dishes. A simply perfect white wine drives on lively soils!
